How Can a Life Coach Help?

The benefits of having a dedicated Life Coach is I will help you with achieving your personal and professional goals in life.

Once we have established your score you decide which areas you desire to give priority to.

Together we will create SMART goals ( Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely) and step by step you will move closer to your desired goals.

For example if you are unfit and unhealthy and want to loose weight and improve fitness, I will look at your present eating habits, the type of movement/exercise you do at present. Then I assess your fitness capabilities and help you will a realistic meal plan and exercise programme.

The SMART Goal would look like this:

Goal – Loose 8lbs, in 4 weeks, by doing 2 x 30 minute weight training sessions and 3 x 30 minute walks per week.  We will take body measurements at the start and end of the 4 weeks and you will  weigh yourself first thing every Monday morning. I will do a fitness test at the start of the 4 weeks then at the end. This will be how we measure if your fitness has improved and the scales and measurements will tell us if you have lost the desired weight.

Ultimately if you stick to my eating plan and take part in the regular exercise sessions you will achieve your desired goal.  Its a team effort where you are supported and have accountability each step of the way.

This is just one example but basically you begin to take control of the areas in your life that may feel out of balance.

We will also uncover your Love language and personality style.  This will help you to better understand yourself and effectively communicate this to others in your home and work place.  It is true that in order to love, you must first love yourself.

Additional to the above we will look at your present belief systems and look at where these have derived from.  Some times without realising they can be limiting and stop us from growing and believing what we deserve. We will support this with affirming statements that will support you to achieve your desired goals.  For example, if you desire to get fit, healthy and strong but keep saying I am so fat, I will never get to my goal weight or I have no self control, then this will massively impact on your results.

Statements like, I am disciplined, I have self control, I am getting healthier by the day and I love healthy foods will support your desire and over time you will achieve your goal if you feel and believe in these affirming statements.

HOW LONG WILL EACH SESSION LAST?

Each session on average will last 45 minutes to an hour.  This can be either 1 to 1 in person at my Home Office or virtually online via face time.  I can recommend how many sessions you may need but ultimately it is your choice how many and how often you have your sessions.
